Good friend and detecting partner Tom Blondell stopped at my table at a local gun/knife show. Tom, always artistic and creative, started playing around with an idea on paper, and this is the result. I helped finish it off with what I think is the right handle profile to compliment the blade. This unusual hunting knife is really deceptive with all the functional versatility it has. The curves and dips in the blade all provide different ways to hold the knife for various cutting functions. Fingertip or thumb placed behind these curves provide a delicate touch or strong leverage when field dressing. Tom is an experienced hunter and knows you don't need a huge blade to dress out an animal in the field. When finished, we named the design after his son, Ross.
