The inspiration for this piece came from good friend and customer, Rich DeVoe. The idea was to make a symmetric, flat smooth profile when closed, that would serve as a 'worrystone' in the pocket. This is the only knife I've done where I started with the closed profile, and then worked around that to design the rest of the knife. ATS-34 blade with 416 stainless bolsters and fasteners. Stabilized giraffe bone was used for the scales. When closed, this knife is a nice ellipse shape with smoothed flattened ends. Dimensions: Length open, 6 1/4" Blade length, 2 9/16"
