This is an interesting variation on some of the other symmetric folders I've made, with guard prongs added to the bolsters. Its named after a good friend and customer. Since he wouldn't change his name to rhyme with "stiletto", I accommodated by altering it to rhyme with his name...all in good fun! This model has an ATS-34 blade with a back grind or false edge. The scales are mahogany dyed jigged bone accented with gold plated screws and the fluted bolsters are 416SS. This one is the "prototype" or first knife made of this model. I liked it enough to make several more and it will be a regular in my line of knives. Dimensions: Length open, 7 7/8" Blade length, 3 1/2"

Great knife! How do I know? I purchased a similar one with elk stag at Blade 2009.
