This knife represents my first attempt at achieving a Scandinavian look in a locking liner folder. The blade is ATS-34 and it has single bevel grind that proceeds directly to the edge on both sides. This allows for a "scary sharp" edge. The inspiration for this was a fixed blade Scandi done by good friend and fellow knifemaker, Mike Blue. Bolsters are of 416SS and the handle scales are smooth, polished goldenroot dyed bone. Screws are gold plated, and the pivot screws are heat colored to match. This knife is stout enough to field dress deer, if you want to....(Another knifemaker friend, Randal Graham, did just that!) Dimensions: Overall length opened : 6 3/4" Blade length: 2 7/8"
