This model incorporates a number of "firsts" for me. Its the first model that has a bail, and the first that contains a supplemental accessory The Sailor's knife sports a sheepsfoot blade, SS fluted bolsters, and Boysenberry jigged bone scales. It has, built into the back of the knife, a small marlin spike that can be used to undo tight knots in cord and rope up to about 3/8". The spike fits into the recess of the bail for extra leverage, if needed, and is held in place by two detentes on leaf springs cut into the won't shake loose! It can also be used as a makeshift needle for net repair. Dimensions: length open, 7 5/16" blade length, 3"
